So you've just started Scions of Fate? Haven't you? If yes, please feel free to read this guide to help you start out.
All of us here at Scions of Fate hope you enjoy your gaming time here. Good Luck!
Updated: The game can be downloaded [Here ].
At the moment, downloading the game is as tricky as a ten-foot snake. If you downloaded the client from [Here], I'm sorry to say but you've downloaded the old client.
There's now a new client, with a better interface and other features, but it needs to be downloaded from [Here].
If you downloaded the old client (if you haven't skip this paragraph), you'll need to uninstall if by going to the Control Panel, then going to add/remove programs. After uninstalling, you'll need to delete ALL folders that SoF (Scions of Fate) was in.
Now, install the new client anywhere you want, but be warned, using the shortcut that appears on your desktop will send you to the SoF homepage. Instead, if you don't want to use the site, go into your Scions of Fate folder and make a shortcut of the Launcher and put that on the desktop. Now we can play.
Oh, wait ! To be able to play Scions of Fate, you'll need to make an account at [Netgames Registering Page]. But before registering, please make an account with [Google Mail] as the other e-mails you can use do not work with the authentication keys as of current.
After following all steps, a Authentication key will arrive in your inbox. Copy and Paste this Authentication key into the box that comes up on the next page in your internet browser. After getting past the key bit, you're account will be made.
To get into the game, you'll either need to log in on [Netgames homepage] opened in Internet Explorer, click SoF then click Start Game or go to [SoF's homepage] opened in Internet Explorer, log in and click the Game start button. The old alternative method used to be running the launcher in your SoF folder. This way was a lot easier.
After the launcher comes up, you'll download some new patches (these come once a week, unless there's some holiday. Christmas for example). After Downloading your patches, click the Game Start button to get into the game.
If you used the launcher shortcut to get into the game, you'll appear at the login screen. Login here. If you used the website to get into the game, you'll go straight to the server select screen.
At the server select, you'll want to choose a server, out of 3 servers called Earth #. Each earth is the same in-game world, but Earth 1 and 3 are used the most, and Earth 3 is only for users with the Master Supremacy Charm activated (from Premium Shop). If you're starting out, Earth 1 is recommended.
After choosing your server, you'll arrive at the character screen. If you're completely new, you'll have to make a new character. To do this, click "create". After clicking create you'll go to the character creation screen. Here you'll be able to make a character. As of current, there are 5 classes. These 5 classes have different properties.
